About The Role
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Receptionist/ Administration Officer with experience in the medical industry to join us on a part time basis with a minimum 64 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster, no overnights or public holidays.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively with both the administrative and clinical teams, as well as liaising with our 3 Support Offices and VMO rooms. You will:
* Ensure a high level of patient and visitor care, acting as the first point of contact for the hospital
* Ensure all admission and discharge documentation is accurately recorded
* Ensure all patient accounts are invoiced, receipted and reconciled
* Manage theatre bookings and ensure lists are distributed accordingly
* Liaise with health funds and complete checks
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital
About You
You have a genuine passion for providing world-class customer service and patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
* Experience in an administrative role within a medical, healthcare or hospital setting
* A high level of computer / technical skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Patient Management Software
* Experience in FYDO or SimDay desirable but not essential
* Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors, staff and other stakeholders
* Solid time management, organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work flexible hours throughout the Monday to Friday roster
