Overview Of The Role
Nuveen Equities and Fixed Income (NEFI) is seeking a Real Assets Research Analyst to cover publicly traded real estate and infrastructure securities. The successful candidate will be an experienced, energetic, and contributing member of a highly successful group of investment professionals.
With solid critical thinking, an investor mindset, and a growth mentality, the Research Analyst will conduct independent research on publicly traded real estate and infrastructure securities. Responsibilities include analyzing financial documents, conducting industry and competitive analysis, and preparing reports related to the public and private real asset markets and companies. The analyst will build valuation frameworks and make security and sector recommendations to portfolio managers, working independently under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* Research individual listed companies and develop proprietary valuation views using quantitative and qualitative metrics.
* Gather market information and derive business forecasts to identify trends and industry shifts.
* Present security and sector recommendations to portfolio management through reports and presentations.
* Attend industry conferences, meet with company management, and analyze supply and demand patterns.
* Collaborate with global team members to share insights and best practices.
* Stay informed on regional political and economic news to serve as a team expert.
* Present views to clients and prospective clients.
* Work with Nuveen's global client group to support business growth.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred.
* Experience in Real Assets research, financial statement analysis, and valuation frameworks.
* Knowledge of listed Real Estate and Infrastructure analysis, especially in Australia and New Zealand; APAC regional experience is beneficial.
* Strong quantitative, analytical, financial modeling skills.
* Proficiency with Excel and Bloomberg systems.
