5+ years of experience in designing, configuring, implementing and supporting Linux operating systems, Automation and Orchestration technologies within Australia Government agencies.
Detailed knowledge and skills in the design, implementation, and configuration of Automation and Orchestration technologies and services; specifically Ansible, Ansible Tower, Jenkins.
Design, implementation, configuration and security hardening skills for Linux Infrastructure technologies and services; specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, SELinux.
Detailed knowledge and skills in DevSecOps technologies and principles; specifically Infrastructure-as-code, Git, Powershell, Python, Ruby or other similar languages.
Knowledge and skills in logging and SIEM platforms; specifically ELK.
Ability to take requirements, standards and frameworks and apply in a practical application to future proposed solution designs and systems.
Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas.
Knowledge of secure identity service integration with Infrastructure and related service interfaces, including Privileged Access Management.
Must be able to rapidly build, automate and deliver proof of concept systems to support analysis, testing, accreditation and development activities, preferably within a DevSecOps process.
Must be able to adapt quickly to changing requirements in a fast paced highly kinetic environment to meet changing deadlines and deliverables.
Experience in supporting and maintaining logging and SIEM platforms.
Experience developing highly available/fault tolerant systems, networks and infrastructure in a connected, partially connected, degraded or often disconnected state.
Desirable Skills andExperience
Experience working within the Defence setting.
Experience working in highly secure kinetic environments.
5+ years of experience working with source code repositories.
5+ years of experience in configuring, building and supporting multi-vendor geographically dispersed solutions.
5+ years supporting environments with varying levels of required security, caveats and controls.
Experience with governance frameworks in relation to infrastructure service and security delivery including required subsystems, i.e. Australia Information Security Manual (ISM).
