About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated First Aid Officer to join our team. The role is responsible for supporting our students, staff & families with basic health supervision. Reporting to the position of Counsellor and Nurse, the First Aid Officer will work with limited supervision while maintaining resources and administration systems for the department.
Duties
As a First Aid Officer, you will:
* Operate and maintain the sick bay station in accordance with established procedures, including administration of medication
* Perform a range of administration tasks, including raising purchase orders
* Maintain first aid supplies throughout the College
* Maintain a database for reporting and documenting student and staff medical information
* Prepare Medical Alerts for students
* Prepare medical paperwork associated with outdoor education, excursions and sporting events
* Support the maintenance and review process for first aid policies and procedures.
Skills and experience required
* A Current First Aid Certificate is essential
* A Paid Blue Card is essential
* Microsoft Office and database skills are essential
* Administration experience is essential.
