We are seeking a strategic and experienced Project Manager to lead a major campus development project in the Cairns region. The successful candidate will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and completion.
Job Description
* The Project Lead will be responsible for managing stakeholders, procurement, contract administration, and risk management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
* They will also coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams to guarantee safe and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.
3. Manage stakeholder engagement, including funding bodies, councils, consultants, and contractors.
4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in leading complex infrastructure projects, preferably with a budget over $50 million.
* Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and submissions.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
