This is a great opportunity for a motivated, customer focused Service Engineer/Technician with experience with field servicing electronic or electro-mechanical equipment. You will develop, implement, monitor and evaluate strategic and operational service activities to ensure ongoing viability of the business.
TekMed is the exclusive AUS/NZ agent for premium brands such as Medical-Germany, Transonic-USA, Infomed-Switzerland, Kugel-Germany. We are expanding our range of medical equipment and require a service technician to support our highly regarded range.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager this position will have responsibility for the following:
* Service repairs
* Service calls on customers
* CRM updating
* Field service management app - service fusion
* Commissioning new equipment
* Calibration and troubleshooting
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
* Positive "can do" attitude
* Reliable
* Has technical experience including IT and Electronics - field service
* Has Business and Health Care experience
* Displays a strong understanding of electronics and biomedical applications
* Has a Biomedical Engineer/technician qualification
* Displays strong mechanical aptitude
* Demonstrates analytical and problem solving skills
* Have a passion for customer service
* Can handle customer complaints
* Has strong computer literacy - office, networking
* Ability to complete tasks/goals within defined time frames
* Demonstrates strong communication skills
* Is able to work autonomously
