Job Title: Court Link Case Manager

This role is an integral part of the court-based program, Court Link, based in Mount Isa. Our team delivers an integrated court assessment, referral, and support program that connects participants with treatment and support services to address housing, employment, drug and alcohol, health, and other social needs.

* We provide information to court users and stakeholders about all programs and supports available through our Courts Innovation Program to support individuals to access the assistance they need to address the underlying causes of their offending behavior.
* You will manage a case load of participants with complex and multiple needs, ensuring timely intervention strategies are developed and implemented to engage participants with appropriate support and treatment services.
* You will assess the risk and needs of participants, develop case management plans, and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to initiate, negotiate, and facilitate linkages and access for participants to a range of appropriate services.
* You will apply sound practice, judgment, and decision making to manage your caseload, ensuring participant activities are consistent with evidence-based practice.
* You will provide verbal and written advice to the court to assist with bail and sentencing decisions.
* You will provide court advisory services to inform the court of participant involvement, progress, and outcomes on the program.
* You will liaise, consult, and negotiate with the judiciary, legal profession, and court staff regarding the management of participants within the program.
* You will recommend decisions about the appropriateness of brokerage funding expenditure and appropriate use of resources for participants.
* You will maintain accurate records in a computerised database to support program delivery and effective monitoring.
* You will support cultural capability within the operations of programs established under Courts Innovation Program to assist vulnerable people coming into contact with the justice system.
