  • In your client‐facing role, deliver high‐quality project outcomes and support directors in generating future business for the broader planning team. Actively participate in the development of high‐quality fee proposals and bids.
  • Mentor junior planners within the team, aiding with their professional and technical development.

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.

  • Degree in Town or Urban Planning (or a closely related discipline) with approximately 4–5 years of professional urban or environmental planning experience, ideally gained within a consultancy.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the preparation of planning assessments, due diligence reports, and development applications for large‐scale transport, energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to contribute effectively within multi‐disciplinary project teams, collaborating with engineers, environmental scientists, and design professionals to deliver high‐quality planning outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing clear, concise reports and liaising confidently with clients, stakeholders, and approval authorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, with working knowledge of GIS or other spatial tools considered advantageous.
Why you'll love working with us:
  • Flexible work arrangements, including alternative start/finish times, part‐time, job‐sharing and hybrid work options
  • Purchase up to 6 weeks additional annual leave per year
  • Flex public holidays – swap Easter or other holidays for ones that suit you better
  • Continuous learning and growth – lunch and learns, professional development courses, financial study assistance, 5 days paid study leave, global career opportunities
