They are embarking on one of their most significant transformations in their history. As they scale to deliver an impressive pipeline of growth by FY2030 and modernise their operations, they're also reimagining how risk is owned, understood, and actioned across the organisation.
They're searching for an Enterprise Risk Manager who isn't just ready to manage systems — but ready to build them. Someone who thrives in ambiguity, champions cultural change, and brings both influence and insight to a sector under rapid reform.
About the Role:
This role is ideal for an experienced Risk Manager, who won't rely on hierarchy to lead. With no direct reports, your ability to influence, coach, and hold others to high standards will define your success. This individual will be developing a risk culture as the organisation grows, embedding frameworks, uplifting capability, and hardwiring governance into the business.
While their systems are still evolving, their strength lies in human connection. This role is as much about shaping culture as it is about managing compliance. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll operate with autonomy and impact.

The Enterprise Risk Manager will lead the shift from reactive to proactive, from siloed to integrated, from compliance to confidence.
You'll work closely with the CEO, ELT, and Board to:
* Embed enterprise risk into strategy, planning and operations
* Build risk literacy across teams and leaders
* Oversee business continuity and resilience
* Govern incident, complaints and feedback processes
* Represent Sundale with regulators, auditors, and external forums
What You Bring
* Deep expertise in risk, governance, and compliance within complex, regulated environments
* A track record of cultural influence — not just policy writing
* Executive presence and the ability to challenge, coach, and elevate leaders
* Commercial acumen, emotional intelligence, and a steady hand under pressure
* Qualifications in Risk, Governance, Business, Law, or related fields (RMIA/GIA/AICD preferred)
