With a strong pipeline of upcoming defence projects, we are seeking an experienced Estimator & Bid Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is a key role within our business, responsible for securing new work and strengthening our project pipeline through accurate estimating, strategic tender coordination, and strong subcontractor engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate tender documentation, estimating records, and bid filing systems
* Support the estimating and pre-contracts team with tender preparation and coordination
* Assist with compiling documentation required for tender submissions and onboarding processes
* Liaise with estimators, bid writers, project teams, and subcontractors to gather required information
* Ensure all tender files, correspondence, and submission records are properly organised and up to date
* Assist with formatting, proofreading, and compiling proposal documentation
* Track tender deadlines, submission requirements, and compliance documentation
* Maintain subcontractor databases, capability statements, and supporting documentation
* Provide general administrative support to the estimating and bid coordination function
* Prepare smaller tenders independently as capability develops
* Training and mentoring provided to support growth into the role
About You
* Experience in construction admin, estimating support, bid coordination, or similar desirable
* Strong organisation skills with excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
* Confident communicator able to liaise with estimators, bid writers, and project teams
* Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and document management systems
* Proactive team player keen to develop estimating skills (training provided)
* Construction, civil, or concrete industry exposure highly regarded but not essential
