The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Clinical Workforce Manager to lead, support and advocate for our large, field-based clinical workforce across metropolitan Adelaide.

This is a pivotal leadership role centred on workforce engagement, performance, wellbeing and clinical support. You will be the key point of contact for our Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers working in the community, ensuring they feel supported, heard and empowered to deliver high-quality care.

You will work closely with Clinical, HR and Learning & Development teams to manage the full employee lifecycle, maintain strong clinical governance and foster a connected, values-driven team culture.

About The Role

This is a pivotal leadership role, centred on workforce engagement, performance, wellbeing and clinical support. You will be the key point of contact for our Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers, ensuring they feel supported, heard and empowered to deliver high-quality care in the community.

You will work closely with Clinical, HR and Learning & Development teams to manage the full employee lifecycle while maintaining strong clinical oversight and a positive, connected team culture.

What does my day-to-day look like?

Provide leadership and direct line management to a large, mobile workforce (RN, EN and PCW)
Actively advocate for staff, maintaining an approachable and supportive leadership presence
Approve and manage leave requests, contract changes and workforce movements
Provide clinical guidance and escalation support for staff in the field
Support staff wellbeing through regular check-ins, performance support and early intervention
Manage incidents and follow-up actions, including investigation, documentation and outcomes
Lead performance management processes, including coaching, feedback and formal HR meetings when required
Conduct annual performance appraisals and contribute to individual development planning
Participate in recruitment activities including interviews and onboarding support
Coordinate training and professional development in conjunction with the Learning & Development team
Support workforce engagement initiatives, including team meetings, connection activities and wellbeing-focused events
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You are a confident, empathetic leader who is passionate about supporting people working in community-based roles.

You Will Bring

Registered Nurse qualification with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
Demonstrated experience leading and managing clinical or care staff
Strong understanding of community nursing, home care, aged care or similar environments
Proven capability in performance management, incident management and staff support
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
A collaborative approach, working closely with Clinical, HR and L&D teams
A genuine commitment to staff wellbeing, engagement and professional growth

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to hold or obtain:

Current Working With Children Check
National Police Clearance
NDIS Worker Clearance
Current driver's licence
Up-to-date mandatory training (manual handling, first aid & CPR)
