Presently we have an opportunity for a Workshop Manger to join and lead our fabrication team based in Geraldton.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fabrication Workshop Manager to lead our workshop operations and ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality fabricated products. Job Requirements: About the Role As the Fabrication Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day workshop operations, managing staff, coordinating production schedules, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise fabrication workshop staff
* Plan, schedule, and oversee fabrication projects from start to finish
* Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification
* Maintain and enforce WHS and safety compliance
* Monitor quality control and continuous improvement processes
* Coordinate materials, equipment, and maintenance requirements
* Liaise with management, clients, and suppliers as required
* Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
About You
* Proven experience in fabrication, welding, or metal manufacturing
* Previous supervisory or management experience in a workshop environment
* Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Sound knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
* Trade qualification (Boilermaker/Welder or similar) preferred
