The Australian Federal Police is seeking a Legal Team Leader to join its Chief Counsel Portfolio. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide timely and accurate legal advice to the AFP on commercial and governance matters.
* Supervise a diverse team of lawyers with varying levels of experience.
* Manage the team's workflow and priorities to align with the Chief Counsel Portfolio and AFP objectives.
* Conduct and/or manage complex matters with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
* Australian Citizenship.
* Negative Vetting 1 Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
* Current practising certificate.
* Demonstrated experience in commercial and governance law.
* Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
