The Role:
In accordance with department policies and procedures, maintain a high standard of cleaning in areas across Hospitals South including removal of garbage and collection/distribution of linen.
Duties:
* Perform general cleaning duties including floor and wall maintenance in offices, wards, corridors, toilet blocks and other designated areas throughout the health facility as directed.
* Undertake a variety of cleaning tasks and other related duties including removal of garbage and collection/distribution of linen.
* Ensure safe manual handling techniques are used in the operation of equipment and report any faults, in a timely manner, to enable corrective action to be taken.

Details of appointment:
Multiple full time and part time positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight,, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar casual vacancies.
Salary: $57,130 - $62,486 per annum (Pro rata for part time roles). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
