At Levande, everyday exceptional starts with the places our residents call home. As a Gardener at Bellevue Gardens, you'll play an important role in creating welcoming outdoor spaces where residents can connect, relax, and enjoy village life.
The role
Working full-time, you'll help maintain the gardens, lawns, and communal outdoor spaces throughout the village, ensuring they remain safe, attractive, and enjoyable for residents and visitors alike.
What You Will Be Doing
- Maintain gardens, lawns, pathways, and communal outdoor areas
- Mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, planting, and watering
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools
- Support village presentation through proactive grounds maintenance
- Respond to resident requests and assist with ad hoc gardening tasks
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and well‐presented community environment
What You Bring
- Previous experience in gardening, groundskeeping, or landscape maintenance
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A friendly, resident‐focused approach and strong communication skills
- Physical capability to undertake manual outdoor work
- Pride in delivering high‐quality work and maintaining beautiful surroundings
- Experience within retirement living, schools, commercial grounds, or residential communities will be highly regarded
