Associate Acoustics Engineer Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Associate Acoustics Engineer to lead the technical delivery of noise and vibration assessments for our projects. The purpose of this role is to provide support within our Noise and Vibration capability in Australia.
Main Responsibilities
* Conducting comprehensive acoustic assessments for various sectors
* Providing expert advice on noise and vibration-related projects
* Managing the technical delivery of noise and vibration projects across multiple sectors
* Leading and writing proposals for new business opportunities
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive, plan, and deliver integrated projects
Key Skills and Qualifications
* A relevant degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field such as Physics or Environmental Engineering
* 8+ years of applicable experience in environmental acoustics-related projects
* A strong understanding of acoustic first principles and the ability to demonstrate technical acumen in areas including noise and vibration modelling and prediction, evaluation of results, control of impacts, and monitoring
* Proven experience in delivering environmental acoustics-related projects; building related acoustics experience is advantageous
* Excellent communication skills, including report writing and oral communication
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients
