Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic based in Redland Bay, QLD. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles and equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Key tasks include executing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting diesel engine issues, and collaborating with the team to maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.
Qualifications
* Skill in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance
* Expertise in Diesel Mechanics and the ability to diagnose and repair heavy vehicles
* Experience working with Heavy Equipment and related mechanical systems
* Proficiency in carrying out Preventive Maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity and optimal operation
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
* Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in diesel mechanics or automotive repair are highly desirable
* Experience in a workshop environment is an advantage
