Support Worker Role
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in providing essential personal care and assistance to children and young people with disabilities.
The role includes planning activities and offering daily living support within the local community, promoting independence and quality of life for our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
* Assisting with mobility and transferring clients safely
* Preparing meals and snacks according to dietary requirements
* Engaging clients in activities that promote social interaction and community participation
* Maintaining accurate records of client progress and well-being
Requirements:
* Relevant experience working with children and young people with disabilities
* Certificate IV qualification or higher in Disability Services or related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and public holidays
