About the role
We are seeking a personable and professional Guest Services Agent to join our team at Lake House in Daylesford. This full-time role will see you play a key part in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for managing all front office and guest services operations.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and checking in/out guests in a friendly and efficient manner
* Responding to guest enquiries and requests, and providing recommendations on local attractions and activities
* Coordinating the daily operations of the front office, including managing guest records and bookings
* Assisting with concierge services, dining reservations, and general guest queries
* Identifying and resolving any guest issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
* Contributing to the overall guest experience by maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a guest services, front office or hospitality role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with people from all backgrounds
* Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Proficiency in using hotel management and booking systems. Experience with Opera Cloud will be highlt regarded.
* A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach
* The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
