Project Lead: Tree Planting Initiative
We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the success of our tree planting project. As Project Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the initiative is implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage a comprehensive tree planting calendar, including identifying suitable locations and scheduling planting events.
* Collaborate with local communities, environmental groups, and local authorities to secure sites for tree planting.
* Organize and coordinate tree-planting events, recruiting volunteers as needed.
You will provide guidance and support to volunteers during planting activities, ensuring a safe environment. Your duties will also include tracking progress, documenting outcomes, and preparing reports. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between the project and the local community.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in project management, event coordination, or related roles is essential.
* A commitment of more than 6 months is required, involving approximately 4-6 hours per week.
* You must be available on weekends and weekdays.
