They offer tailored hydraulic solutions and provide 24/7 call-out services to support their diverse client base.About The OpportunityThe primary purpose of this position is to operate and maintain a range of manual machinery, ensuring components are machined to precise specifications and meeting production requirements.Reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor, some of your responsibilities will include:Reading and interpreting technical drawingsPerforming quality control inspections to ensure precisionCollaborating closely with a small, tight-knit workshop teamOperating manual lathes, milling machines, drilling and slotting equipmentSupporting shutdown and site-based work when required (optional travel for extra earning potential)About YouThe successful candidate will have:Sound knowledge of mechanical fittingProven experience with manual machining equipmentAbility to work autonomously in a fast-paced environmentTrade qualification as a Machinist with Cert III in Mechanical EngineeringStrong communication skills and a commitment to health and safety proceduresWillingness to learn, with training opportunities provided to grow into hydraulic technician rolesWhat\'s In It For You?
