Port Phillip Village is a welcoming retirement village immersed in nature, perfectly positioned among spacious landscaped grounds in the beachside suburb of Altona. Situated next to Kooringal Golf Course and Wetlands Bird Sanctuary, you’ll enjoy the benefits of resort-style amenities and secure caravan storage, while being moments from cafés, shops, and all the attractions of Port Phillip Bay.
Port Phillip Village in Altona, is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused Bus Driver to join their team on a 3 month Fixed-term contract.
Shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 4pm
The Role
Reporting to the Village Manager, duties will include;
- Providing secure transportation of our residents to local shopping centres and return them at the end of their outings.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required i.e. taking the vehicle for servicing and other Village tasks
- Providing exceptional customer service to our residents

About You
As you will be working alongside our many residents, a customer-service focus is essential, as well as:
- Standard (C class) Drivers Licence (Required)
- First Aid certificate (Required)
- Experience driving a bus/people mover
- Experience working with seniors, and the awareness of mobility/health and safety issues that may occur (highly desirable)
- Team-focused, with willingness to perform other ad-hoc duties when required
- Ability to identify when bus requires maintenance
- Ability to complete basic maintenance tasks as required by Village Manager
- A genuine interest in assisting our residents
Relevant internal training and inductions will be provided to the successful candidate on-site.
