Effective Supply Chain Leadership is critical to our organization's mission to save, protect and transform lives in need. As a key member of our senior management team, you will provide strategic direction and oversight of our supply chain management, encompassing procurement, fleet management, travel, store and inventory management, and invoice payment processes.
About the Role
This position plays a vital role in shaping our country program's strategy and initiatives. You will work closely with senior colleagues to coordinate efforts, best serve program participants, and ensure that programs are supported effectively, risk is managed, and efficiency is increased.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership:
o Collaborate with senior colleagues to drive results and achieve our program objectives.
o Incorporate supply chain issues into country strategic planning and assess investments needed in supply chain capacity.
o Represent the organization at relevant interagency and sector coordination meetings.
* Functional Management to Increase Effectiveness:
o Supervise Supply Chain Managers of projects in strategic material resource management.
o Communicate Country Program priorities and guide managers to ensure alignment of efforts.
o Maintain efficient and compliant local and international procurement processes, including maintenance of the Country Program's Supplier Master.
o Ensure proper stewardship of resources and optimal utilization and maintenance of program assets and resources.
