$26.51 to $29.94 per hour + 12% superannuation + NFP salary packaging
Your Role
Are you someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and making a real difference through hands‐on work? We're looking for a practical, proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining safe, welcoming spaces for our residents and staff. This role is ideal for someone who prefers being on the tools rather than managing teams or coordinating trades.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, painting, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings.
* Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
* Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection.
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.
* Carry out maintenance requests through CMMS system.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies.
About You
* Solid hands‐on maintenance experience.
* Experience working with property‐related contractors.
* Trade qualifications or experience is highly desirable.
* Values‐driven professional with excellent communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal abilities with capacity to work collaboratively and independently.
* Trade background with relevant qualifications highly regarded.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
* A valid driver's licence.
* Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) – desirable.
* Experience in an aged care or health care environment.
