About the Role
Reporting to the GP Training Development Manager, as a Senior Software Developer, you'll design, build, and maintain secure, scalable Azure-based solutions. Reporting to the Development Manager, you'll work with architects, product owners, and business teams to deliver integrations, enhance systems, and drive DevOps best practice.
As our Senior Software Developer, you'll also:
* Analyse and plan approaches to adhere to high quality software development standards including design reviews, code reviews, coding standards, source control, and code management to mitigate the production release risks.
* Research, evaluate and identify RACGP client needs and apply significant judgement when designing systems, providing recommendations and developing solutions using Azure cloud technologies.
* Evaluate complex requirements and develop and maintain applications according to the cloud architecture frameworks.
* Evaluate and identify software solutions working closely with the architecture team and liaising with third party external service providers.
* Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the quality DevOps processes.
Skills & Experience
* Deep hands‐on experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, .NET Core, and C# in complex application environments.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Azure Integration Services (iPaaS), including API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
* Proven ability in designing and delivering cloud‐native solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
* Solid experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs, including best practices for performance, security, and interoperability.
* Experience with Azure DevOps, including source control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline deployment configurations.
* Strong development experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing and optimising complex queries and stored procedures.
