1. SQL & Database Expertise

. ETL & Informatica PowerCenter
* Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter for designing and implementing ETL workflows.
* Expertise in mappings, workflows, sessions, and transformations (Source Qualifier, Joiner, Aggregator, Lookup, etc.).
* Knowledge of Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) for data profiling and cleansing.
* Data Profiling & Analysis
* Ability to perform data profiling to assess data quality, identify anomalies, and define cleansing rules.
* Experience with data lineage, metadata management, and data dictionaries.
* Familiarity with statistical methods for analysing data distributions and patterns.
* Data Acquisition & Integration
* Experience extracting data from structured and semi-structured sources (APIs, flat files, XML, JSON).
* Knowledge of change data capture (CDC), incremental loads, and batch processing.
* Understanding of real-time vs. batch data integration approaches.
* Scripting & Automation
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation and data processing.
* Experience with scheduling tools (AutoSys, Control-M, Cron) for ETL job automation.
Additional Preferred Skills:
* Cloud & Big Data Exposure
* Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
* Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, or Snowflake for large-scale data processing.
* Data Governance & Compliance
* Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, or other data privacy regulations.
* Familiarity with data cataloguing tools (Collibra, Alation).
* BI & Reporting Tools
* Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS for reporting and analytics.
