Project Support Officer Salary: $79,122 – $96,073 (plus superannuation)Classification: VPS Grade 3Tenure: OngoingHours: Full time (flexibility may be available)Location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (flexibility may be available) The RoleWe are seeking a proactive and adaptable Project Support Officer to support the delivery of key projects and initiatives within the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance Branch. Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, Delivery, you will coordinate project activities, provide administrative support, seek advice where needed, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved. You will contribute to an inclusive and cohesive team environment and help drive outcomes that align with organisational objectives. The position would suit a recent graduate, or someone with skills and interest in desktop research, analysis, governance, or data visualization, relevant to supporting significant change projects. Key Accountabilities * Prepare briefs and reports on sensitive issues for consideration by others. * Exercise professional judgement in applying rules and guidelines. * Conduct field or desk-top studies as part of a project team. * Initiate improvements to procedures and workflows within the work area. * Use persuasion, advocacy, negotiation, and motivation skills to engage clients, providers, staff, peers, and managers. * Support the delivery of projects of defined scope, monitoring progress and taking corrective action when required. About the TeamThe TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance Branch leads system-wide initiatives across the Victorian TAFE Network, driving innovation, improving quality and efficiency, and supporting strategic engagement with TAFEs, government, and industry. The branch also oversees key education plans and strategies, First Nations initiatives, and governance functions for the tertiary sector.
