AG + HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANICS - BDS ROMA
We are offering full-time, permanent opportunities for AG Mechanics and Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our Roma-based field service team. This role provides the chance to work with a well-established, reputable, and stable organisation offering strong long-term career prospects.
BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is a rapidly growing, progressive business delivering end-to-end mechanical, auto-electrical and welding services, both on-site and from our fully equipped workshops. Operating across Queensland and Western Australia, our network of 22 branches and more than 160 mobile service units provides reliable coverage across over 600,000 km². The successful candidates will possess the following:
* Relevant trade qualification
* Diagnostic experience
* Strong fault-finding skills
* Experience with trucks and trailers
* Heavy earthmoving experience (advantageous)
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Truck licence (preferred)
* Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded
Your duties will include:
* Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
* General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4's
* Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
* Checking vehicle lighting systems
* Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
* Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
* Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
