About the Role
The Secondary School Teacher inspires students through engaging lessons while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.
The role involves fostering a safe, inclusive classroom, working collaboratively with colleagues and families, and upholding the Christian values and ethos of Manning Valley Anglican College.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum for secondary students (years 7–12).
Develop and implement curriculum; assess and report on student learning using a variety of tools and strategies.
Maintain positive classroom management and a supportive learning environment.
Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance engagement and outcomes.
Participate in co-curricular activities, camps, or school events as appropriate.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor of Education or equivalent
Conditional, provisional or proficient registration with NESA
First Aid & CPR Certificate
NSW Working with Children Check and willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check
