We're seeking an experienced Senior SAP Technology Expert to lead our high-performance team and drive strategic technology initiatives.
About the Role
This is a challenging role that demands a deep understanding of SAP architecture, extensive hands-on experience, and a proven track record of executing complex projects.
1. Design and architect complex SAP systems, considering future growth and technological advancements.
2. Lead large-scale SAP Basis projects from conception through to delivery, managing cross-functional teams and vendors.
3. Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in SAP technology, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP environment.
4. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with SAP technology vendors and partners, ensuring optimal use of resources and cutting-edge solutions.
6. Mentor junior experts, share knowledge, and contribute to their professional development.
7. Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into technology solutions.
8. Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions by implementing robust quality assurance processes and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants must have:
1. A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience can be considered.
2. Extensive experience as an SAP Basis Consultant, with a strong focus on SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and/or SAP S/4HANA.
3. In-depth understanding of SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery procedures.
4. Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, and other related technologies.
5. Proven expertise in SAP HANA Administration and Database Management Systems.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to think tactically and strategically.
7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
9. Proven track record of leading and delivering complex SAP projects, achieving client satisfaction, and driving business value.
10. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
