Overview
The Technology Engineering graduate program is designed to give you an immediate, defined role within a team for an extended period while still enjoying the benefits of a graduate program, including cohort connection and direct access to leadership.
You will spend 12 months working with engineering industry experts, gaining a well‐rounded understanding of how the technology function operates. You will be surrounded by leaders invested in your development, with tailored experiences to match your determination and drive to explore their areas of expertise.
Program Highlights
You will be involved in re‐imagining our digital platforms to deliver the best customer experience in the market and in delivering cutting‐edge technology to millions of customers. Possible project areas include Westpac Web and Mobile native app development, API integration, or automation platform work. You will be part of an engineering team that innovates and experiments with a wide range of technologies – designing, architecting, developing, and supporting solutions for both internal and external customers.
What You'll Need to Succeed
If you are clear on your future role in engineering, choose the Specialist Engineering Program. You will need a STEM degree and background, and the program will provide a technical, capability‐focused curriculum to build specific skills through hands‐on experience in a specific tech function at Westpac.
You also need to meet the following:
* Be in your final year of study of a university degree, or
* Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, but it must be no longer than three years ago.
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian Permanent Resident at the time of application.
