Our client is a national manufacturer of civil concrete products supplying to sectors such as residential development, local governments, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation and the plumbing/drainage market. They are renowned for being the largest producer of precast concrete and pipe manufacturing with our operations expanding and employing 800 employees across 6 states in Australia. Due to growth, we are currently seeking experienced welders to join the team.
Pay rate - $36 per hr (including casual loading)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding
- Bending bars as per drawings using machinery and jigs
- Weld steel bars and mesh
- Fabricate cages for concreting
- Reading/interpreting drawings
- Work in a manufacturing environment
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proven MIG welding skills
- Ability to pass a welding test
- Drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement
Shift Details:
- Day Shift: 5:00am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday
- Overtime Available, including Saturdays
