As a key professional in our Construction team, you will oversee the deployment and expansion of power generation assets. This role is crucial for the successful delivery of the proposed Reeves Plains Energy Hub, situated north of Adelaide.
This exciting project aims to enhance energy security and support Australia's transition to net-zero emissions. As a Project Manager, you will lead a team, coordinate with various stakeholders, and promote a culture of safety and high performance. You will manage the implementation of a state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) designed to boost the region's electricity storage capacity.
Key Responsibilities
* Directly manage contractors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and effective project management.
* In your routine activities, prioritise contractor interfaces and ensure the multi-contract project is delivered on time, within budget, and safely.
* Identify and manage risks related to business, community, and environmental factors.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and community requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project success.
* Contribute to a culture of Zero Harm by implementing HSE policies and monitoring performance.

Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering or project management with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
* Proven track record in managing teams within the engineering and construction industry.
* Experience in constructing major energy infrastructure, ideally in utility battery storage or transmission substations.
* Successful experience in managing multi-contract construction projects.
* Direct experience with managing connections to existing transmission networks.
* Strong analytical skills to assess and mitigate organisational risks.
