This role is dedicated to serving the Newcastle, Hunter, and far North coast area.
**About the role**
- ** Sales Generation -** Maintain and develop strong business relationships with allocated business, generate new business and manage accounts. Undertakes visits in allocated area to Distributors and End-users, initiating sales and demonstrating product.
- ** Business Relationships -** Initiate and ensure a responsive approach to the sales marketing territory requirements.
- ** Reporting Business Outcomes** - Ensuring pro-active reporting of all sales requirements, including current and expected business outcomes, opportunities, forecasting and emerging issues in line with regional requirements.
- ** Corporate Citizenship** - Ensure adherence to all corporate policies including agreements and approval processes, pricing and quotations, expense reporting and use of standard terms and conditions, use and management of company assets. Ensure ethical outcomes consistent with Code of Practice framework.
- ** Teamwork - **Contribute as an effective member of the Foodservice Team including mentoring new staff, contributing to team outcomes/goals, developing and maintaining effective communication. Seek out opportunities to contribute to the development of the Foodservice Team.
- **
Distributors - **Conduct "cook-ups" and product presentations and visit distributors as per call cycle. Increase product ranging. Liaise with Distributor representatives.
- **
End-users - **Key objective to drive product pull-through distributors. Visit end-users as per call cycle. Conduct product presentation and cook-ups as required. Launch new SKU's as directed by State Field Sales Manager. Maintain key accounts. Win new business. Add value to existing accounts.

Other - **Completing call cycle planning and updating customer databases. Ad hoc support as directed by the State Field Sales Manager.
**About you**
- Previous experience as a Sales Representative or similar role within the foodservice industry would be an advantage
- Self-starter - motivated to seek action beyond specific position responsibilities
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- A strong team player, with the ability to relate to and build relationships with all levels of the organisation
- Good organisational skills - efficiently schedule own time and activities to meet all project time frames
- Good Microsoft Office skills including the ability to analyse some business data and report outcomes.
- Capacity to work autonomously
- Demonstrated ability to participate as part of a challenging team environment.
- Australian Drivers Licence
