Defence Transition Support Specialist
This critical role provides seamless and empowering transition experiences for each ADF Member.
The Defence Transition Support Specialist will provide individualised support to transitioning members, including:
* Career pathway guidance and development opportunities
* Upskilling and training provision
* Referrals to relevant services and resources
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Proven case management experience or previous experience in a careers advisory role
* Well-developed interpersonal skills, including building rapport and conducting effective interviews
* High-level ICT skills, particularly proficiency in the Microsoft suite of programs
* Ability to interpret and apply guidelines, administrative procedures, and processes with ease
Program Requirements: Mandatory
* Must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
* Minimum 5 years' experience in employment services industry or community services sector

About You...
Key Requirements - highly preferred having one of the following;
* Proven case management experience or previous experience in a careers advisory role is essential, preferably including skills with defence personnel.
* Strong interpersonal skills (including building rapport, listening and interviewing), and ability to research and write clear Career Plans.
* Proficient high-level ICT skills particularly the use of the Microsoft suite of programs.
* Ability to interpret and apply guidelines, administrative procedures and processes with ease.
* Experience and/or confidence with group or public speaking engagements.
