About the Role
The role of the Project Manager is to support the Organisational Project Management Office (OPMO), by working with relevant stakeholders to draft project proposal documentation, assist in initial set up and project management of incoming projects, and take carriage of allocated projects. This role will ensure the adoption of project methodologies, governance, standards and tools are utilised; update relevant schedules, deliverables, dependencies, budgets, risks, issues and benefits as part of allocated project work. This role will be supported by the Program Manager of the OPMO.
Key Role Accountabilities:
Align personal leadership behaviour and ethical standards with the WMQ Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland's Vision, Mission and Values.
Utilise and ensure adherence to project methodologies, governance, standards, documentation and templates in the drafting of project proposal documentation overseen by the Program Manager.
Assist business stakeholders by care-taking projects in Altus (OPMO Project and Portfolio management tool) until a relevant Citizen Project Manager can be appointed and trained.
Manage allocated projects to completion in Altus.
Effectively communicate and manage project expectations and success criteria with team members and project stakeholders on a regular basis.
Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate
Build develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of relevant projects
About You
Demonstrated experience working in a PMO environment or in a similar project role.
Project management skills and the ability to successfully manage a number of small projects to achieve business outcomes and objectives.
Previous experience and knowledge using project management tools (MS Project, Altus etc.)
Previous experience as a member of multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to multitask and deal with conflicting priorities.
PMO and/or Project management certification (PMI, Prince2, PMBOK, Prosci, or similar).
Demonstrated experience working in the not-for-profit sector.
Business Analyst Qualifications or Certifications will be highly regarded.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Human Services or Information Technology will be highly regarded.
