As a Carer Marketing, Recruitment and Training Officer, you will:
* Lead and deliver targeted community engagement activities, campaigns and events that raise awareness of foster care and support carer recruitment and retention
* Build strong partnerships with local councils, community organisations, businesses and stakeholders to strengthen referral pathways and expand community reach
* Plan and facilitate engaging information sessions, presentations and outreach initiatives to educate and inspire prospective foster carers
* Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing campaigns, while monitoring, analysing and reporting on recruitment and engagement outcomes to drive continuous improvement
Position Details
* Part time, fixed term position until 30 June 2027
* 0.6 FTE working 22.8 hours per week
* $101, 032 p/a (pro-rata) + Super + Salary Packaging
What We're Looking For
We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:
* Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Community Engagement, Social Services or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of Victoria's Out of Home Care system and the needs of children, young people and foster carers.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated experience delivering community engagement activities, events or campaigns.
* Well‐developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
* Competence using digital communication tools, including social media platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
