Due to continuous growth and expansion, we are seeking experienced HC & MC drivers (with a min of 1 year experience) based in Bunbury.
You will play a vital role in collecting waste oil from various locations across West Australia including the Southwest, Goldfields, Great Southern and Perth Metro area.
Weekly trips throughout South West and Perth Metro area, some overnights or 2-3 days away on the road. This is a physical role and involves a lot of manual handling, fitness for work is imperative due to handling pump hoses, moving of heavy drums and bins.
* Performing pre-start checks and reporting maintenance faults and defects
* Completing administrative tasks such as controlled waste tracking forms, waste collection receipts, delivery dockets, and consignment notes.
* Collecting waste products from designated customers and freight yards.
* Maintaining a fatigue logbook with trip details, including required fatigue breaks to ensure full compliance with Commercial Driver Fatigue regulations.
* Unloading the truck of collected waste products.
* Fitness for work is imperative as this role is physical due to handling of pump hoses, equipment and accessing the top of tanks via fixed ladder.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking candidates who meet the following essential qualifications.
* Valid HC or MC Driver's License
* Minimum 1 years MC Experience on public roads
* High motivated, organised and detail-oriented in daily work practices.
* Demonstrated initiative, judgement and problem-solving skills.
* Professional with strong communication skills.
* Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment health check, including drug and alcohol testing.
* Pump truck experience (an advantage).
* Controlled Waste (an advantage).
* Forklift Ticket (an advantage)
