Position Highlights: As a Payroll Officer with us, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our team. You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a specific portfolio, ensuring seamless end-to-end payroll processing across a dynamic division. What You'll Do: Accurately process end-to-end payrun for all employees on a fortnightly basis Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations and adjustments Ensure compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, Australian payroll legislation and internal policies. Process employee leave entitlements, overtime, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments. Respond to employee queries related to payslips, tax, leave balances, and other payroll-related concerns. Apply knowledge of Long Service Leave regulations, considering the specific rules for each State and Territory Managing Centrelink Paid Parental Leave payments and Workers Compensation payments Keep things running smoothly by staying on top of the payroll inbox and workflow, using tools like Service Now.
