Apex Signage is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team and lead the delivery of commercial signage projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-profile projects while playing a key role in the growth of our Brisbane presence. For the right person, the position offers a genuine pathway into a future Area Manager role, leading a local team and helping establish a dedicated Brisbane operation.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, taking responsibility and delivering outcomes. Someone who is equally comfortable in front of clients, on-site with staff, contractors, and managing the many moving parts that keep projects on track.

The role
As Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading multiple signage projects from planning through to installation and handover.
This is a hands‐on role that requires a strong physical presence in Brisbane. You'll spend time meeting clients, attending site inspections, coordinating contractors and ensuring projects are delivered to the standard Apex is known for.
While you'll be based in Brisbane, you'll be supported by our established Gold Coast office, with regular collaboration and face‐to‐face engagement with the wider team.
You'll work closely with clients, architects, builders, project managers, suppliers and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Key responsibilities
* Lead commercial signage projects from planning through to completion
* Manage project programmes, procurement and delivery schedules
* Coordinate clients, suppliers, subcontractors and installation teams
* Attend project meetings, site inspections and client presentations
* Manage project budgets, forecasting and variations
* Identify and resolve project risks and delivery challenges
* Maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard
* Support business growth and help strengthen Apex's presence in Queensland
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a senior project management role
* Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
* The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
* A hands‐on approach and willingness to be actively involved in project delivery
* Confidence working independently and making decisions
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience in signage, construction, commercial fit‐outs, manufacturing or a related industry will be highly regarded
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset

Important information
This role is based in Brisbane and requires regular site attendance, client meetings and project involvement across South East Queensland.
