We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy finance team at our Port Beach Office on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for:
* Verification, coding, and data entry of invoices
* Monitoring the accounts inbox on a daily basis
* Ensuring creditors accounts are reconciled and timely payment of all creditors
* Creating bank entry files and payments
* Resolving internal and external queries as necessary
* Assisting with month end routines and accruals
* Other finance related activities as required
We would like to hear from you if you have the following:
* 2+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable role
* Demonstrated experience in identifying opportunities to improve processes in a Finance role
* Have a working knowledge of accounting methods and accounting software systems
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Strong time management with the ability to meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple tasks
* Strong attention to detail
* Flexible and willing to assist other team members
* Proficient with MS excel to at least an intermediate level. This includes the ability to create/amend and understand formulas such as VLOOKUP and Pivot tables
* Experience with high volume invoice processing
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
