MCNElec's business is continually growing and so is our team. We are currently looking for a qualified and skilled Electrical Engineering Technician with the same passion to join our friendly and dedicated team.
About the role
As an Electrical Engineering Technician at MCNElec, you will be responsible for assisting in the design drawings of electrical systems, testing of electrical systems, preparing charts and tabulations, and assisting in project cost estimates.
Your job duties will include:
- Reviewing the client/project site, liaise with Director and clients for project specifications and needs
- Produce drawings, diagrams and documentations of electrical installations and circuitry systems.
- Prepare project estimates, specifications, material, and equipment schedules
- Coordinate the collection of data and preparing charts and tabulations to report the results
- Assist with the assembly, installation, testing, calibrating, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems to ensure compliance of standards and regulations
- Inspect and perform tests of electrical systems and equipment to ensure they meet current standards and safety requirements
- Seek alternative options continuously that deliver cost reduction or performance improvements
- Always striving for quality and cost effectiveness in all projects and ensuring client satisfaction
Skill and experience
To be successful, you will need:
- Fully qualified, at least Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum experience of 2 years relevant experience
- Great electrical engineering and hand skills
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and motivated
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Excellent communication and teamwork
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
