">This role is a part of the Australian Cancer Nursing and Navigation Program, which aims to provide high-quality care to patients with cancer. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC2), you will be responsible for providing advanced-level nursing services as an expert in the specialty field. You will facilitate linkages and relationships with local health district nurses/midwives and medical officers to support patient management.

">Key Responsibilities:

* Providing assessment, care planning, and review of patients in collaboration with primary service providers.
* Utilizing the national Optimal Care Pathways for people with cancer and existing local referral processes within and between Northern NSW Local Health District facilities and other entities.
* Expert clinical coordination, leadership, and consultancy services within the oncology service and target populations within the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).

">Required Skills and Qualifications:
">To be successful in this role, you must have expertise in cancer care coordination, leadership, and consultancy services. You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. A relevant degree in nursing or a related field is required, along with current registration with the relevant professional body.
