What You'll Be Doing:

As a Coatings Consultant within Dulux's Victorian & Tasmanian Protective Coatings business, you will be responsible for driving profitable market share growth across Tasmania through strong sales execution and relationship management. This state-based role involves frequent travel across multiple regions, where you will build, maintain and grow sustainable customer partnerships within a highly competitive market. You'll manage both existing and new business opportunities, working closely with protective coatings specialist blast yards, industrial and flooring applicators, while also influencing key decision-makers such as engineers, architects, coatings inspectors, commercial builders, project managers, procurement teams, facility owners, and government and council bodies. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you'll collaborate with a high-performing team to influence projects through your networks, negotiate long-term contracts, identify incremental growth opportunities, and ensure every customer interaction reflects excellence in service, professionalism, and commercial acumen.

What We're Looking for:

* Proven sales and territory management experience, ideally within protective, industrial or related coatings markets
* Strong building and construction market awareness with a commercially astute mindset
* Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, presentation and influencing skills across varied stakeholder levels
* A proactive, self-motivated "can-do" approach with a strong customer service focus
* Ability to develop long-term contracts and execute growth strategies
* High-level communication and computer skills
* Background or technical knowledge in Protective and Industrial Coatings (highly regarded and preferred)
