Beyond Early Learning is a South Australian not‑for‑profit early learning provider delivering high quality, wellbeing‑focused education and care across centres in Goolwa, Blackwood and Mount Gambier, with an additional regional site currently under development. A wholly owned subsidiary of Scotch Enterprises, Scotch College Adelaide’s commercial business unit, Beyond is guided by a strong purpose and values‑led philosophy. Building on a unique expertise within education and wellbeing, Beyond has established a strong organisational foundation in preparation for sustainable, planned growth.
Reporting to a small, highly credible Board, the Chief Executive Officer will lead the strategic and operational direction of Beyond Early Learning, driving strong performance, capability and long‑term sustainability, with an unwavering focus on quality outcomes for children, families and communities. Key areas of responsibility include:
* leading the delivery of Beyond Early Learning’s strategy, purpose and values across all services;
* partnering with the Board to support effective governance, risk management and informed decision‑making;
* ensuring strong financial stewardship, business performance and sustainable, well planned growth;
* overseeing regulatory compliance, quality assurance and organisational risk across multiple sites;
* leading, developing and sustaining a capable, engaged and accountable executive team and workforce;
* representing the organisation and building trusted relationships with families, partners and regulators.
Applications are encouraged from experienced executive leaders with a general management background gained within early learning or related human services or mission‑driven sectors. Candidates will bring strong commercial acumen, proven experience leading complex, multi‑site operations and teams, and the ability to work effectively within regulated environments. The successful applicant will be a proactive, self‑driven leader, confident moving between strategic and operational matters, able to constructively partner with the Board, and skilled in building trust, accountability and organisational capability across the business.
