About Our Client
My client is a boutique, union-focused law firm. The role is based in NSW.
Job Description
Managing and progressing files in practice areas including Personal Injury.
* Working with the Principal Solicitor in the following areas of law:
* Criminal
* Industrial and Employment
* Administrative
* Handling general legal enquiries referred by union partners
* Representing union members in employment-related criminal matters
* Liaising with union officials, members, and other stakeholders
* Working closely with Special Counsel and the Principal Solicitor on complex matters
* Maintaining high standards of client service and file management
The Successful Applicant
* The successful candidate will have: a minimum of two years' post-admission experience
* A demonstrated understanding of, and empathy with, the goals and values of trade unions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and high organisational capability
* Effective time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* A collaborative and professional approach to legal practice
