Our client is an international plumbing company that has been operating for over 25 years. We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Plumbers with strong copper experience to join a major infrastructure project in Western Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale project with consistent work and competitive rates.
Duties include:
* Installation of copper pipework for mechanical services
* Measuring, cutting, and preparing copper pipe
* Brazing copper pipe joints
* Installing pipe supports, brackets, and hangers
* Assisting with mechanical plant connections
* Reading and interpreting mechanical/hydraulic drawings
* Pressure testing pipe systems and checking for leaks
* Working safely alongside other trades on a large infrastructure site
* Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
* Cert III in Plumbing (or overseas equivalent)
* Willing to obtain Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC)
* Working at Heights ticket
* EWP ticket
* White Card
* Experience working with copper pipework
* Own basic tools and PPE
* Ability to read mechanical/hydraulic drawings
* Strong safety awareness and work ethic
