The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in residential facilities.
Cleaner Role Responsibilities:
* Ensure all areas of the facilities are cleaned and sanitized as required
* Adhere to established cleaning procedures to maintain high standards
* Utilize chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently
* Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff
* Comply with safety and security protocols
Catering Assistant Role Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent food service within kitchen areas of the facility
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety legislations daily
* Prepare and present wholesome, nutritious meals
* Maintain dietary needs during meal preparation
* Ensure personal hygiene standards and wear correct uniform
* Identify and report any hazards or health concerns
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a residential aged care environment
* Basic knowledge of food hygiene practices
* Proof of 2x Covid-19 vaccinations + 1 booster
* Previous experience as a cleaner or in a similar role
* Familiarity with OHS legislation and guidelines
* Awareness of cultural differences and ability to work effectively in diverse environments
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Reliable transportation to and from sites
