What is the role's primary purpose?
The IT & Digital Projects Manager is responsible for the stability, security, and evolution of theorganisation's technology landscape. This role combines the day-to-day management of coreinfrastructure and Microsoft 365 services with a proactive focus on Special Projects that driveoperational efficiency and digital innovation.
What will you be doing as a IT & Digital Projects Manager?
* M365 Administration: Act as the primary administrator for the Microsoft tenant,including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
* Identity & Security: Manage Entra ID, including user lifecycle(onboarding/offboarding), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and ConditionalAccess policies.
* Network Stability: Oversee local and cloud networking (Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls) toensure 99.9% uptime for all business units.
* Asset Management: Maintain a registry of hardware and software licenses,ensuring all equipment is patched, secure, and fit for purpose.
Cloud Software & User Support
* SaaS Ecosystem: Support and integrate various third-party cloud applications(e.g., CRM, POS, Registration, Competition or Finance tools) ensuring they synccorrectly with the core environment.
* Technical Escalation: Serve as the senior point of escalation for complextechnical issues, providing "white-glove" support to staff
* Training & Documentation: Create simple "how-to" guides and conduct brieftraining sessions to help staff leverage cloud tools effectively
Special Projects & Continuous Improvement
* Workflow Optimisation: Identify manual processes and implement automatedsolutions (e.g., using Power Automate or specialized cloud integrations).
* AI: You are AI savvy and want to progress the organisation by leveraging thistechnology.
* System Migrations: Lead transitions from legacy systems to modern cloudalternatives.
* Security Audits: Periodically review the "Secure Score" and implement bestpractices to protect company data from evolving threats.
* Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with externalsoftware vendors to ensure value for money.
