**Hardware Manager**

**Pursehouse Rural**is a leading independent Agribusiness specialising in agricultural produce,
equipment, services and advice across 27 locations in North West NSW and Queensland.
We are seeking a Hardware Manager employee to join our team in our Stanthorpe Branch, on a full
time basis.
The Hardware Manager is responsible for driving hardware sales and operations at the Stanthorpe
branch. This role involves managing the hardware department, providing exceptional customer
service, and supporting general merchandise areas when required.
Duties include;
- Manage the hardware department, including inventory, sales, and customer service.
- Assist with the receipt, storage, and maintenance of hardware products.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Provide product information and assistance to customers to drive sales.
- Process product orders and maintain stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock takes and inventory control.
- Coordinate deliveries and manage logistics.
- Liaise with suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Train and supervise hardware sales assistants.
- Provide feedback to the Branch Manager on market trends and customer needs.
- Assist in general merchandise areas when required, ensuring a high standard of customer
- service and product knowledge.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organised hardware department.
Ideal applicants will possess the following:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service role, preferably in the agricultural sector
- Effective time management skills and the ability to forward plan
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to maintain a high standard of personal presentation and meet the physical
- requirements of the role
- Valid drivers licence, class C and a sound knowledge of safety around vehicles
- LF Forklift License (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in the Agribusiness sector will be highly regarded, as will holding a First Aid Certificate.
An above Award salary, plus superannuation, is available based on skills and experience, and a
generous staff discount is available on rural products.
